For the What Else? – Shared Grocery List app by Cabin Labs.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

your profile (display name, and backup email if you linked one),
every list you own, including all of its items,
your membership in lists owned by others (their lists remain, without you),
your authentication record.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

Open What Else? → Settings → Delete account and confirm. This works for every account, including anonymous ones, and takes effect immediately.

Option 2 — By email (without the app)

If you no longer have the app installed, email hello@cabinlabs.ca with the subject "Account deletion request". Send the request from the backup email address linked to your account — that's how we verify the account is yours. We process deletion requests within one month, usually much sooner.

⚠️ Anonymous accounts: if you never linked a backup email, your account cannot be identified from outside the app, so email deletion isn't possible. Reinstall the app on the same device (or restore from a device backup) and use Settings → Delete account. If the account is unreachable, it holds no data that can be connected to you.
